I only accept advertising from categories specifically relevant to my readership – I do not accept ads around gambling, forex, crypto, or digital marketing topics – nor cosmetic surgery, beauty aids, weight loss, or other items and services not relevant to outdoor and urban survival tactics.
1) Product Reviews/Endorsement: I occasionally accept products to test and review to make sure they’re aligned with my readers – and that I might use myself. I write objectively without bias toward any commercial entity or product. Product distributors have no control over my review opinion. Only send a product for my review after contacting me first for approval. Do not send unsolicited products.
2) Advertising Display or Links: Advertising display or do-follow text links are accepted from vendors of products and services that I know and trust, and have personally researched, and relevant to my audience. I sometimes accept an advertiser’s products for field testing and may choose to write an objective and critical review, with links to the products as a service to my readers. However, advertisers do not not influence the content of my writing or my positive or negative reviews of products. If I agree to do a review, it will be an objective one. See paragraph above about categories we do not accept for SCS.
3) Sponsored Paid Guest Posts: I accept submissions for guest posts from products or services I’ve researched and that align with my readers’ interests. I have the right to edit final guest posts or reject them based on the quality of writing. Post authors must have field experience testing the products being promoted and submit quality original content for excellent readership. I don’t accept AI-written content.
4) YouTube Video Review: I accept only a few requests for sponsored reviews on my YouTube channel with the same endorsement philosophy seen above.
